The CEO of Devere Group, a financial advisory and asset management firm, anticipates further volatility in the crypto market before year-end. However, he stressed that \u201cfor serious investors, this will not necessarily be seen as a bad thing,\u201d noting that \u201cSavvy, long-term crypto investors will be looking to benefit from panic sellers by buying their digital currencies \u2018on the cheap.’\u201d The CEO of financial advisory and asset management firm Devere Group, Nigel Green, shared his view on the future outlook for bitcoin and ether Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cMarkets are now predicting that policymakers at major central banks, including the U.S. Federal Reserve and Bank of England, are likely to remain resolute in pumping up interest rates in their battle to beat down unexpectedly stubborn inflation,\u201d he began. The executive added that the Fed has \u201cmaintained a hawkish theme that inflation remains far too high and they won\u2019t put off raising rates.\u201d<\/p>\n As higher interest rates typically lead to stock market declines, the Devere CEO noted:<\/p>\n Given bitcoin and ether\u2019s current correlation with stock markets, we anticipate further, perhaps heightened, volatility in the crypto market before the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cHowever, for serious investors, this will not necessarily be seen as a bad thing,\u201d he continued. \u201cThe major investors, including institutional ones, will treat it in the same way as turbulence in any other market.\u201d<\/p>\n He explained that \u201cSome of the world\u2019s best investors consistently use market volatility as major buying opportunities in traditional financial markets \u2014 and the cryptocurrency market is now no different.\u201d The Devere boss stressed, \u201cWhen used effectively and efficiently, volatility can be an extremely powerful investment strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n The Devere executive further pointed out that \u201cBitcoin remains the best-performing asset class in the world, and has consistently ranked amongst the best for both traditional and crypto investment sectors over the last few years.\u201d<\/p>\n Noting that \u201cSerious investors will not be spooked by further volatility,\u201d Green concluded:<\/p>\n Savvy, long-term crypto investors will be looking to benefit from panic sellers by buying their digital currencies \u2018on the cheap\u2019 to enhance their investment portfolios.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
