Meta detailed that the rollout begins in countries like \u201cAfrica, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAdditionally, we now support wallet connections with the Coinbase Wallet and Dapper, as well as the ability to post digital collectibles minted on the Flow blockchain,\u201d Meta\u2019s blog post adds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The news follows Meta delivering <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/alphabet-microsoft-and-now-meta-release-disappointing-quarterly-earnings\/\">subpar quarterly earnings<\/a> for Q2 2022 and the company\u2019s metaverse unit <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/metas-metaverse-is-still-not-profitable-reality-labs-unit-registers-2-8-billion-losses-during-q2\/\">losing money<\/a>. Furthermore, on July 30, Ethereum\u2019s co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/ethereum-vitalik-buterin-criticizes-corporate-metaverse-attempts-anything-facebook-creates-now-will-misfire\/\">criticized<\/a> corporate metaverse attempts and added \u201canything Facebook creates now will misfire.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Meta said on Thursday, that as far as Instagram\u2019s non-fungible token (NFT) rollout, \u201cno fees associated with posting or sharing a digital collectible on Instagram.\u201d The company also detailed that it supports third-party wallet connections with wallets such as Metamask, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, Dapper Wallet, and Trust Wallet.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe feature includes connecting a digital wallet, sharing digital collectibles, and automatically tagging the creator and collector,\u201d Meta\u2019s blog post summarizes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Meta introducing NFTs to Instagram follows the CEO of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/instagram-is-exploring-nfts-to-make-them-more-accessible-to-a-wider-audience-says-ceo\/\">mentioning<\/a> that the social media application would implement the technology last year.
