Prince Philip of Serbia and Yugoslavia says that bitcoin is freedom. Noting that \u201cwe need to take the money away from the state,\u201d the prince stressed: \u201cWe need to have hard money again. We need to have good quality money that\u2019s not subject to inflation.\u201d Prince Philip of Serbia and Yugoslavia recently talked about bitcoin on a Serbian TV show hosted by Ivan Ivanovi\u0107. Prince Philip, a member of the House of Kara\u0111or\u0111evi\u0107, is the second son of the last crown prince of the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He is the fraternal twin of Prince Alexander and the second-in-line to the throne after Prince Peter.<\/p>\n Prince Philip is currently working with a global asset manager in London, according to the Royal Family of Serbia\u2019s website.<\/p>\n \u201cI work in finance,\u201d he confirmed on the TV show. \u201cI work in asset management for an international finance company. We need to have good quality money that\u2019s not subject to inflation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Referring to inflation, he said the problem is happening now and \u201cEspecially since that last financial crisis in 2008 which extraordinary stimulus has been pumped into the economies.\u201d He detailed: \u201cAnd since then with the Corona pandemic, unprecedented amounts of stimulus have been pumped into the economy and, of course, where is this money going to go? It\u2019s going to create inflation.\u201d<\/p>\n Prince Philip proceeded to talk about bitcoin. \u201cWith Bitcoin, you don\u2019t have that. You have a cap of only 21 million bitcoins that are going to be produced,\u201d he described, adding:<\/p>\n Therefore it\u2019s never going to be an inflationary asset and this helps to protect people.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cOn top of that, it\u2019s censorship-free. It\u2019s very fungible. You can move it around \u2026 and it will help with people\u2019s sovereignty, and it helps with people\u2019s freedom,\u201d the prince concluded.<\/p>\n
