{"id":62984,"date":"2022-03-16T09:03:14","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T09:03:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cryptocabaret.com\/?p=62984"},"modified":"2022-03-16T09:03:14","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T09:03:14","slug":"binance-now-fully-licensed-by-central-bank-of-bahrain-to-offer-crypto-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cryptocabaret.com\/?p=62984","title":{"rendered":"Binance Now Fully Licensed by Central Bank of Bahrain to Offer Crypto Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cryptocabaret.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/central-bank-of-bahrain.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium_large size-medium_large wp-post-image\" alt=\"Binance Now Fully Licensed by Central Bank of Bahrain to Offer Crypto Services\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p><strong> Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it has received a full license from the Central Bank of Bahrain. \u201cThe crypto asset license will allow Binance to provide crypto-asset trading, custodial services, and portfolio management to customers under the supervision of the Bahrain regulators,\u201d said the exchange.<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Binance Now Licensed in Bahrain<\/h2>\n<p>Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced Monday that it has been granted a crypto asset service provider license from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).<\/p>\n<p>Changpeng Zhao (CZ), founder and CEO of Binance, tweeted:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Binance has been granted the first license for a global crypto-asset provider in The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) by the Central Bank of Bahrain.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe license from Bahrain is a milestone in our journey to being fully licensed and regulated around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency exchange company received in-principle approval from the central bank in December last year. And in-principle approval means that Binance still needed to complete the full application process.<\/p>\n<p>Rasheed Al Maraj, governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain commented: \u201cDeveloping regulations aligned with global trends is a key objective for us at the CBB. We continue to work with partners and industry leaders such as Binance to develop regulations that enable innovation and best practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The announcement adds:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The crypto asset license will allow Binance to provide crypto-asset trading, custodial services and portfolio management to customers under the supervision of the Bahrain regulators.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em><strong>What do you think about Binance receiving a license to operate a crypto exchange business in Bahrain?
