I myself have written at least three example text editors in articles about <a href=\"https:\/\/opensource.com\/article\/17\/4\/pyqt-versus-wxpython\">wxPython and PyQt<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/opensource.com\/article\/20\/12\/write-your-own-text-editor\">Java<\/a>. The reason they&#8217;re seen as easy apps to create is because the frameworks provide so much of the code that&#8217;s hardest to write.
