With the addition of the meme crypto, Coinbase Commerce now allows customers to check out and pay with seven cryptocurrencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Coinbase Commerce Now Supports Dogecoin<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Coinbase Commerce is a platform by the Nasdaq-listed Coinbase that \u201cenables merchants anywhere in the world to accept cryptocurrency payments in a fully decentralized way,\u201d its website describes.<\/li>\n<li>The company announced via Twitter Wednesday:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We\u2019re now accepting commerce payments in dogecoin (DOGE).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>According to its website, seven cryptocurrencies are now supported. Customers can \u201ccheck out and pay with bitcoin, bitcoin cash, dai, ethereum, litecoin, dogecoin, or USD Coin.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- growjs zone placement 31 --> <ins> <ins class=\"growjs-placement\"><\/ins> <\/ins> <!-- end of growjs zone placement --> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The website further explains: \u201cAll payments facilitated by Coinbase Commerce are fully decentralized and peer-to-peer. This means that the cryptocurrency goes directly from your wallet to a wallet that is only accessible by the merchant. At no point in this flow does anyone except the merchant, including Coinbase, have access to these funds.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>In June, the Nasdaq-listed company added <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/coinbase-pro-dogecoin-deposits-now-open-trading-begins-on-june-3\/\">dogecoin<\/a> and its rival meme coin <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/shiba-inu-coin-price-soars-coinbase-pro-shib-cryptocurrency-trading\/\">Shiba Inu<\/a> (SHIB) to Coinbase Pro.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, Coinbase has been expanding globally. The company recently got approval to operate in <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/coinbase-approved-to-enter-german-cryptocurrency-market\/\">Germany<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/coinbase-approved-enter-japanese-cryptocurrency-market\/\">Japan<\/a>. It is also building a crypto hub in <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/coinbase-actively-building-crypto-hub-india-hire-hundreds-of-people\/\">India<\/a>, hiring hundreds of people.
