Hitbtc has revealed the exchange\u2019s plans to halt bitcoin cash transactions on that day, and it plans to credit all users with an additional token if a blockchain split happens. Additionally, Kraken has announced plans for the fork as well with airdrop support requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Bitcoin Cash (<a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a>) network will upgrade on November 15, 2020, and the latest feature that will be added to the network is the ASERT Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm (DAA).<\/li>\n<li>Bitcoin Cash may bifurcate due to the introduction of the infrastructure funding proposal (IFP) added to the Bitcoin ABC codebase. Six other <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a> full node clients will not adopt the IFP feature added to the software.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, in a surprise twist, Bitcoin ABC announced it will also launch a software client that is IFP-free and compatible with BCHN and the rest of the full node clients. \u201cBusinesses have the freedom to choose between the two chains,\u201d Bitcoin ABC\u2019s blog post notes.<\/li>\n<li>A great number of Bitcoin Cash proponents on Reddit and Twitter believe ABC\u2019s latest announcement is a ploy to stay relevant. \u201cThis seems like a last-ditch effort for relevance. As always, ABC can do whatever they want with their code. I just hope no one is duped into giving them the time of day after their recent behavior,\u201d the Reddit user \u2018AD1AD\u2019 responded on Friday.<\/li>\n<li>The trading platform Hitbtc has revealed fork contingency plans and says that it will support both blockhains if there is a split on the 15th.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe new token will be issued to all users by a 1:1 ratio based on a full snapshot of <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a> balances on Hitbtc at 12:00 PM (UTC) on November 15th,\u201d Hitbtc\u2019s announcement states. \u201cA decision on which chain will carry <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a> ticker on Hitbtc will be taken after the completion of the fork,\u201d the company added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kraken revealed its plans for next Sunday as well and the exchange says that it \u201cwill support [the] Bitcoin Cash Node regardless of the outcome of the fork.\u201d \u201cBitcoin Cash Node tokens will be called \u2018Bitcoin Cash\u2019 on our platform and represented by the ticker symbol \u2018<a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a>,\u2019\u201d Kraken added.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWe will support Bitcoin Cash ABC only if the hashpower on the ABC network is at least 10% of the hashpower on the Bitcoin Cash Node network,\u201d Kraken stressed. \u201cIf we support Bitcoin Cash ABC, it will be called \u2018Bitcoin Cash ABC\u2019 on our platform and represented by the ticker symbol \u2018BAB.\u2019\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The two-pronged Bitcoin ABC announcement can be read <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitcoinabc.org\/2020\/11\/06\/bitcoin-abc-will-support-both-bcha-and-bchn-after-the-chain-split\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>, the Hitbtc statement can be read <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hitbtc.com\/upcoming-bitcoin-cash-bch-hard-fork-information\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>, and Kraken\u2019s contingency plan for the <a class=\"lar-automated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.bitcoin.com\/crypto\/BCH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BCH<\/a> fork on November 15, 2020, can be read <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.kraken.com\/post\/6795\/bitcoin-cash-hard-fork-on-november-15-what-kraken-clients-need-to-know\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.
